Shopping For White Tea And Green Tea In Beijing Near Your Hotel

by Cathryn Zhang

Find a good Fujianese tea shop on Beijing’s Maliando tea street

If you haven’t heard of Chinese white tea, you can visit a very good tea shop named “Luxueya,” it is a very famous brand name from southern China. In this shop, you will learn white tea culture and taste the most delicious white tea. The shop is in Beijing’s Maliandao tea street, just a couple of minutes away from the Beijing HongKun International Hotel.

However, when their Beijing branch first opened in 1997, Maliandao was not a major shopping place. But after 10 years of hard work and development, Luxueya grew perfectly along with the tea street itself.

Their tea comes from the Taimu Mountains, a beautiful mountain range in Fujian province. Their plantation covers several mountains, and they proudly offer organic green tea, white tea, jasmine tea, and black tea. Many of their patented tea strains have won gold medals all over the world.

White tea is the most popular tea in their shop. It is a kind of tea that is uncured and unfermented. Because of their huge selection, the price of their tea varies widely. If you don’t need good packaging, Luxueya carries loose tea for comparatively lower prices.

Live healthy and better with Chinese tea

We all hope to live a naturally healthy life, maybe you have tried many methods to achieve this goal, but after tens of even hundreds of tries, all of them turn out to be a waste.

Lake Tahoe Ski Resorts: Heavenly Mountain

by Bella Holly

The Heavenly Ski Resort is one of the most popular resorts in the United States. Located at Lake Tahoe, on the California-Nevada border and offers four base facilities. This resort stretches out over a massive 4,800 acres! It has 30 lifts and a whopping 97 runs.

Heavenly is situated the highest of any other ski resort in South Lake Tahoe. It is owned by Vail Resorts Inc and was purchased by them in 2002. Regardless of the fact that 360″ or nine meters of snow falls in this area annually the Heavenly resort also houses one of the US’s biggest snowmaking systems so you can rest assured if you want to ski and the snowfall hasn’t been so great, you will be catered for.

With ski resorts, the “ski season” generally begins sometime in the middle to late November and lasts until late April, but this time frame is based on the amount of snowfall the area receives. If snowfall isn’t very good, the season may begin later or end sooner. It’s always a good idea to take a look at weather statistics for the ski resort you plan to visit so you don’t end up with your ski trip being cut short or cancelled.

If you plan on flying in, the closest airport to Heavenly is in Reno, Nevada. Luckily, the resort has a shuttle bus that runs to and from the airport. There are a variety of accommodations to choose from, which vary enough in style and price to suit every family’s needs.

Cruise Vacations – Information You Might Not Know

by Phillip Joansen

Booking cruise vacations can be tedious and stressful work. However, if you are smart about your planning and reservations, your cruise vacations planning will go off without any fuss. Here are some items you should note when planning your cruise.

First, plan ahead and make sure to book your reservations for your cruise as soon as possible. When you and your family have decided what dates you want, go ahead and start the booking process with your travel agent. Remember that there is a deposit that is required when booking and you will typically have to pay around 10% of the total cruise package when going on a long duration cruise.

You will end up paying the rest of your cruise package 45 to 60 days before your departure date. However, most people just pay 100% of their package up front. Late reservation people have to pay 100% of their package once they receive their travel confirmation. Be aware that you might have to pay additional fees for increase in foreign exchange rates and fuel tax surcharges. If you have any questions about additional fees that you will incur, go ahead and ask your travel agent. Your travel agent is there to supply you with all the answer you need.

Once your entire payment has been received, you will be able to get your mailed cruise tickets and package. Verify that all the documents are there and that your itinerary is correct. Also, an important matter to check is your airline tickets. Make sure that the tickets coincide with your cruise ship departure date.
