Making plans to come to the US this summer? The entire family can have an enjoyable time with the wide variety of things to see and do. Plan your trip considering adequate health insurance for tourist and some of the following popular US destinations.

California: No trip to the US can be complete without visiting California. Whether you like theme parks like Disneyland, Universal Studios, Lego Land, and Sea World or prefer soaking up the sun at a beach or indulge in serious shopping there is something for everyone. Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco are the popular cities to visit.

Hawaii: Hawaii is a cluster of islands in the Pacific. Each island has a unique feel and character. The beaches in Hawaii are consistently rated with the top 10 beaches in the world. Hawaiian food and culture is interesting and exotic.

Las Vegas: Las Vegas is the mecca of gambling, glitz and glamor. Several top entertainers have permanent shows in the casinos. For a truly gastronomic experience sample one of the many restaurants started by celebrity chefs. Get away from the hustle and bustle by going to the natural wonder, The Grand Canyon located just 5 hours away.

New York: For constant hustle and bustle you cannot beat New York. Central Park, Statue of Liberty, and the Chrysler building are visited by tourists each year. Book tickets in advance for your favorite show on Broadway. The restaurant scene is legendary with reservations almost impossible to get in many popular restaurants.

Plan your trip so that you are not very rushed travelling from one place to the next. The US is a country of great distances. State rules can vary widely. Check to make sure your travel medical insurance is accepted in the states you plan to visit.
