Renting a Holiday Villa in Austria

by Steve Woodward

Austria is in the heart of Europe and boarded on all sides by several other European and Eastern European countries including Slovenia, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and the Czech Republic. The capital of this beautiful country is Vienna which is situated beside the River Danube.

The cities of Vienna and Salzburg are beautiful with amazing architecture, but there is so much more that this country is able to offer to its visitors. The mountains, lakes and rivers provide you with the chance to try various different outdoor activities that you may not have considered doing before from mountain climbing, to skiing, to kayaking.

The best time of year for visiting Austria will depend on the kind of activities that you would like to be doing whilst there. For those who enjoy hiking and mountain biking then going in the summer is best. Whilst for those who want to have a go at skiing or snowboarding of course the winter months are the ideal time to plan a break to this country.

The weather is at its warmest from April through to October, however be prepared as these two months can be slightly colder so it is worth bringing some warm clothing with you. However, if you find heat somewhat difficult then avoid the months of July and August as at these times the heat can become extremely unbearable for some people. Plus what you will also find is this is their high holiday season and prices for accommodation etc increase as does the heat.

Alaska Cruise Family

by Craig wilson

Cruising with children in Alaska would be a great educational opportunity for them to learn about the amazing natural untouched landscapes and its wildlife, glaciers and marine life as well as learning about the weather and the possible effects of climate change

If you are traveling with children and are worried about everyone being fed up, then don’t be. There are lots of activities for adults and children so if you want to take part in something the chances are that the children will also be doing something at the same time. There are also onboard sitters to watch your children in the evening

Whilst onboard Carnival Cruise children are entertained in Camp Carnival a special activities program for children ages from 2-15 years old. So you can enjoy the things you want to whilst on your holiday, the children are being entertained as well so everyone is happy. A child minding service is available in the evenings for a small extra charge depending on the amount of time you wish this service for.

Children aged between 2 and 17 years old can join the Kid’s crew on the Norwegian Cruise Lines cruise ships. Each child can enjoy activities appropriate to their age whilst you are then free to relax and enjoy the things that you want to do.

Planing Your Trip Around the World

by John Q. Harris

There is nothing like international travel to broaden the mind and fortunately it is now something that almost anyone can afford. You do not need not be rich to engage in traveling this way; a well-planned itinerary is as close as your computer keyboard plus you can find a good airfare if you plan ahead and travel in the of peak seasons, generally in fall and spring.

Although most of the best deals are in winter, the likes of Southern France, Italy, Spain and Greece have very mild winters so you won’t have to suffer the cold on your travels. If you want to save even more money you can look for villas, apartments or houses owned by private citizens who rent them out for shorter periods so you may be able to have a longer trip without a cost penalty.

Of course you can expect all the normal creature comforts when you rent the properties. There is nothing like having a breakfast when you are on vacation especially when you prepare it yourself and it gives you a chance to use fresh produce from a foreign country.

With your own laundry facilities it is easy to keep your washing clean and if there is internet access you can send your friends e-cards which won’t cost anything. Experiencing a different culture is a great adventure and it’s the little things that really reach out and grab you; for example, Seeing and meeting people from other countries will open your mind to new ideas especially when you see things that you wish you had in your own country.
